Dr. C Discusses Lemtrada

Lemtrada is an MS treatment that has been used in other parts of the world for years.Just recently is was approved in the United States and Dr. Crayton is one of the first physicians in the Northern Virginia area to have treated patients with it ! Clinical Trials

There are many benefits in the participation of clinical trials including receiving treatments that may be more effective than the standard approach, having closer monitoring by a range of health professionals during your participation, and adding to improved MS treatments in the future. Currently there are a few active trials available for enrollment at the MS Center. You can read about these under the Clinical Trial section on our website or talk to Dr. Crayton about them.

Free Patient Workshop ! “Free from Falls”

The National MS Society is holding a free patient workshop on Saturday August 1 from 10 am to 3 pm in Leonardtown, MD. This workshop is a great opportunity or people with MS who are able to walk, but may be at risk for falling. There will be physical therapists there to lead and show preventative techniques and much more !
